Canaries In A Coal Mine
Tonbridge School was a leading partner in organising the Canaries in a Coal Mine project to raise awareness about Climate Change. The project involved over 20 local schools of all kinds, hosting talks by polar explorers and Oceanography Professors as well as running a series of competitions to show that creativity and imagination is an important way to tackle this most significant of challenges facing the world today. The project culminated in six events over 2 days in late March, including a concert, a version of Question Time and a major dance event as well as a Business Forum and a procession up Tonbridge High Street.
