Mike Morrison (mim@tonbridge-school.org) is the School Community Action Director (and a member of the Independent Schools Council Community Action Working Party). In addition to facilitating the school's current community involvement and working closely with other local schools, Mike is encouraging new ventures in order to involve boys in a wide and exciting range of activities as a positive way of expressing their awareness of the needs of others.
Stephen Wainde (smw@tonbridge-school.org) is the Marsh Academy Link Co-ordinator.
Katie Wood (kew@tonbridge-school.org) is the assistant Community Action Coordinator with particular responsibility for the weekly TCA programme on Wednesday afternoons.
Juliet Burnett (jcb@tonbridge-school.org) is the part time Community and Conservation Coordinator with a further remit to look closely at Tonbridge School’s Green credentials with a view to reducing the school’s energy consumption by 5% within the next two years.
Lesley Cumming (ljc@tonbridge-school.org) organises the annual TCA concert for the elderly.
Rev. David Peters (dap@tonbridge-school.org) is the School Chaplain.
The Community Action Committee is made up of teaching and ancillary staff, a representative from the local community, and 4 Tonbridge School pupils. It meets at least once a term to plan and coordinate the many community and charity activities the school undertakes each year.
