Information Technology Facilities

The Information Technology Facilites of the school are made available to local groups upon request (primarily for training purposes). Recent users have included the local Fire Brigade and CAB volunteers.

Students and staff support organisations with computer training. This has been particularly well received by homes for the elderly such as Frome Court.

Tonbridge School has been kind enough to allow Louis Yeung and Justin Tsui to visit Frome Court Sheltered Housing to help our residents to learn computer skills. These two boys have been absolutely wonderful - kind, thoughtful, considerate, polite, patient and respectful.

Louis and Justin have met a number of residents and interacted with them appropriately. I have been around in the background and heard conversations between boys and residents and it has been heart warming to hear how the residents have not only learned various computer skills and improved their confidence but also learned about each others' lives and cultures. I believe the interaction has been beneficial to both residents and boys. Many thanks.

ICT hardware is donated to Age Concern and other local and international organisations.
