All boys have the following curriculum of 60 forty-minute periods per 10-day cycle:
| English | 7 | (All boys take the GCSE exam in English and English Literature.) |
| Mathematics | 7 | (Either GCSE or, if GCSE already taken, AS work) |
| Sciences | 5 × 3 | (All boys take the GCSE exams in three separate sciences or in Double Award Science, on the recommendation of the Head of Science.) |
| 4 Options | 7 × 4 | (Continuing the Second Year GCSE options) |
| Seminar | 3 | (Replaces Information Systems, Divinity/PSE and PE) |
A Parents' Evening is held for the Third Year in the Lent Term when provisional choices of AS Level subjects are discussed.
