Jonathan Miller’s career has covered many different fields: author, lecturer, television producer and presenter, theatre, opera and film director.

First coming to prominence in Beyond the Fringe with Alan Bennett, Peter Cook and Dudley Moore his career became inextricably linked with the stage, directing many memorable productions & winning the inaugural Laurence Olivier Award for Best Director in 1976 for Three Sisters. Over the years he has directed over 50 operas in cities all over the world.

For over 30 years Jonathan Miller has contributed prolifically to the BBC and independent television, with his 1966 BBC film of Alice in Wonderland being regarded as one of his greatest achievements. He has also produced & directed a number of plays for the prestigious BBC Television Shakespeare Project. He was knighted for his services to the Arts in 2002.
