Seamus Staunton is a sculptor who has exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally, in public and private collections. He works with a range of materials including wood, metal, concrete, plastics and fabrics. Many of his sculptures are very structured with strong industrial and maritime influences, but he also draws on the natural landscape particularly in his smaller pieces.
Tonbridge School is currently working with Seamus to commission a sculpture for the 2010 leavers. His exhibition at the Tunnel is an opportunity to see the full range of his work which is both thought provoking and engaging.
