In 1953 beekeeper Edmund Hilary and porter Tenzig Norgay began a grueling and treacherous ascent to conquer the summit of the world’s highest mountain – Everest.
Taking inspiration from Hilary and Norgay’s biographies and the Oscar nominated documentary The Conquest of Everest, Spike retell the story behind one of the greatest achievements of the 20th Century. With projected animation, puppetry, and a whole load of snow, two heroic performers bring to life this epic tale of adventure of bravery and international fame.
Spike are talented, refreshingly different and well worth seeing
