A brand new adaptation by Scene Productions

A startling depiction of everyday man plunged into homicidal lunacy by the world around him. Was it down to crazy voices in his head? Was it the cuckolding lover and the smug drum major? Was it down to increasing social pressures, or did the constant diet of peas just mash his brain? This morality play has been adapted using a range of styles and influences from Brecht, Berkoff, Godber, Punchdrunk, Frantic Assembly, Stanislavski, and Artaud to create a thrilling theatrical experience that will inspire students and provide a toolkit of innovative ideas and approaches to a piece of text.

Also includes a free workshop for local schools' 4.00pm-6.30pm. Students will be given the confidence & practical tools required for creating their own theatre, familiarized with working methods, performance styles & encouraged to share ideas whilst watching and learning from each other. Features use of detailed notes, sentences to use in exams, improvisation, mask, chorus, ensemble, text, tableaux, voice and physical work. Suitable for GCSE & A-Level Drama Students. Contact the Box Office for more information.
