The Photographic Society meets every Monday at 4.30 on the top floor of the art department. It is a brilliant opportunity for people new to photography to get their hands on some kit, have a go and learn the basics of black and white photography. You will learn to take photographs, develop films, print pictures and generally learn how to use the dark room. The more experienced people can get a chance to look at new techniques such as using liquid emulsion or sepia toning. The art department provides all the equipment and cameras are provided if needed. The Photographic Society can be used for the skill section of The Duke of Edinburgh's award. Mrs Waugh is the teacher in charge of the society.
