Terra Nova Society
Extra Curricular > Clubs And Societies > Terra Nova
The Terra Nova Society introduces a wider range of Geographical issues to the school which give the student a better overall view of the subject. Each term there are lectures given by outside speakers and teachers on Physical or Human aspects of the syllabus and also on areas completely unrelated to it. Outside speakers are generally not well known, but we are hoping to invite some more famous lecturers. Members who give a particularly good talk or series of talks are awarded the Terra Nova tie.
The meetings are usually very informal and refreshments are always available. All years are very welcome to attend. If a regular appearance is put in students are invited to the Terra Nova Society's annual dinner.
