Lent Term

The Cross Country Club is open to all years for all standards of runner whether for fitness or for competition.  The club has been extremely successful in recent years, and runs teams at Senior, U16 and U14 level.

Cross Country training runs follow routes outside the school grounds and into the Kent countryside via public footpaths.

The Kent Schools League makes up the majority of the school fixtures. The club also competes in cross country relays and events such as the Knole Run and the Bruinvel’s Trophy at Harrow.

The annual CRAS (Inter-House XC race) is the biggest single house sporting fixture in the school calendar and takes place in the Lent Term. The race is run as laps within the confinements of the school grounds with a sufficient variation of terrain to make for a fast, but nevertheless demanding course, making a far better spectacle and creating a wonderful atmosphere in the school.
