Michaelmas and Lent Terms
Association Football is played competitively in both the Michaelmas and Lent terms. In the Michaelmas term the club is open to boys in the top three years of the school and fixtures are held against outside schools as well as internally via the House League system. In the Lent Term Association Football is a major sport, played by boys from the 2nd year through to the sixth form. Ten Tonbridge teams regularly play every Saturday of the Lent term agains other schools, with a high level of success. The Football club has toured widely in its brief history, participating in the much admired Gothia Cup in Sweden, and venturing as afar as Brazil, Argentina, Italy and France.
The club provides long and lasting links for its players with an Old Tonbridgian side being established in 2004, which competes in the Arthurtian League.
