Michaelmas and Summer Terms

Tonbridge is a very successful golf school and we compete in many regional and national school competitions. Numbers are limited for logistical reasons so boys would normally have to have a handicap of 18 or below to be accepted. There are about 10 matches against other schools in each of the Michaelmas and Summer terms, played either at home at one of Knole Park or Wildernesse Golf Clubs or away at a variety of clubs around the South East including Royal St. George's, Chart Hills, Royal Ashdown, West Sussex and Walton Heath. The school also arranges a Fathers and Sons competition during the Easter holidays, most recently at the London Golf Club. The Old Tonbridgian Golfing Society is also one of the most successful in the country, winning the Halford Hewitt in both 2004 and 2005.
