Michaelmas and Lent Terms

Squash is a popular participation sport at Tonbridge, with the club oversubscribed each term and the courts heavily used by boys and the Tonbridge Town Club.  The club is open to all years. Ladder matches take place midweek, and professional coaching is available at each games session.

Tonbridge has four squash courts which have received a substantial refurbishment in the summer of 2010; new flooring was fitted and the walls were replastered.

Matches against other schools take place most Saturdays, with teams at Senior, U16, U15 and U14 level.

The school alumni boasts at least two internationals, in Brian C Phillips (Kent and England in the early 50s) and Peter Fuente (Sussex and England, who left the school in ‘53), and the Old Tonbridgians have reached the final of the prestigious Londonderry cup in the past.
