School House has been one of the later houses to start its own award, but the House has made swift progress since launching the scheme in 2009.
Total donation commitments to date: £131,998
Tom Scrace, Sc’s first foundationer, joined the House in September 2010. Tom’s path to Tonbridge began from Withyham Primary School (East Sussex). He was inspired by local farmer, the late Tim Calcutt (Sc 1947-52), to try for an award.
On the strength of the rapidly building fund, the committee has made an offer of a second place. So Philip Magee, from St Thomas’s Primary School, Sevenoaks, will join the House in 2012.
