Celebrating the 5th Anniversary of the Judde Society

To celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the Judde Society, which was established as a means of thanking those who have generously remembered Tonbridge in their wills,  we have launched the Judde Society newsletter (PDF, 1.1 MB).

Every bequest made to Tonbridge has enabled us to provide new opportunities which help shape the future of the school in many ways. We believe the future of Tonbridge will increasingly be dependent on legacies.

We hope that those of you who have benefited, directly or indirectly, from the breadth and depth of education that Tonbridge offers will want to ensure that a succession of boys can continue to enjoy this stimulating environment that will elevate them and help them develop their potential.'

Tim Haynes, Headmaster

The Vere Hodge Centre, named after the man whose legacy made it possible.

Legacy bequests are a very tax efficient way of donating as they are free from inheritance tax, and gifts of shares and property are exempt from capital gains tax. To find out more you can download our Legacy brochure here (PDF, 1.58 MB) which will tell you about the different types of bequest which can be made.

If you have already made your will it is simple to add a codicil by using the codicil form that can be downloaded here (PDF, 28.6 KB).

Once you have made your legacy bequest to Tonbridge, we would ask you to please complete and return the pledge form. This helps us with future planning and automatically gives you membership of The Judde Society.

If you need further information on any aspect of legacies please contact Judith Edwards, Acting Foundation Director: Tel: +44 (0)1732 304253 or Email: je@tonbridge-school.org
