New sports centre plans

Wednesday 21st September 2005

Tonbridge has felt the pressing need for indoor sports facilities for many years. Now a project is underway that is going to address this need and more. The Governors have approved a financial plan that will enable the school to press ahead with a new sports centre. The plan hinges on borrowing and on fundraising (more soon).

Momentum is building. The school has appointed the architectural firm, Limbrick, to design a building that will meet its needs and will sit comfortably in the Tonbridge landscape. Limbrick have already produced a first set of plans and other professionals are at work putting the project in motion.
