Tonbridge goes to the Edinburgh Fringe

Friday 6th July 2007

Five Tonbridgians have formed a theatre company (Hog Head Theatre Company) to take a show to the Edinburgh Fringe this summer. Rob Amboule (Sc) plays Adam, Alastair Mavor (WH) plays Michael and Tom van der Klugt (Sc) plays Edward in Frank McGuinness' harrowing play Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, based on the experiences of Brian Keenan, John McCarthy and Terry Waite, taken hostage in Beirut in the 1980s. James Mitchell (WW) and Andrew Yarwood (JH) provide technical support.

Details of the performances in Edinburgh are given below but there will also be a special sending-off performance at Tonbridge on Saturday 28th July at 8pm. Tickets can be booked through the EM Forster Theatre box office on 01732 361908 (or email facilities@tonbridge-school.org). Please come along and see them.
