The Tonbridge team in the Bank of England's Target 2.0 Competition today won the South East England and East Anglia Area Final. Dame Alice Owen's School were placed second, and Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School were placed third. The team members, who recommended an interest rate of 5.0% in relation to the Bank of England's current interest rate of 5.25%, were Henry Li (HS), Will Mosseri-Marlio (SH), Charlie Simon (MH) and Natt Vikitsreth (FH).
The Tonbridge team will now proceed to the National Final of the competition which will be held at the Bank of England in London on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th March. At the National Final, they will compete against the five schools from across the UK who win the other Area Finals.
