Congratulations to Paul Lanigan (Sc5) who was a member of the UK Cadet Rifle Team and competed in the Jersey Rifle Championships. He became the youngest winner of the Crill Trophy which is awarded to the best aggregate score on the Thursday of the competition. He beat a strong international field, including Commonwealth Games Gold and Bronze medallists.
He also competed at the recent Bisley Championships, with very impressive results. He came 24th out of 650 cadets and in the adult championship, against world class opposition, he ranked 185th in the world. He has been promoted to class X, the highest classification for elite world class shooters, an amazing feat for a junior.
