Mindfulness

Tuesday 12th January 2010

Mindfulness mediation was introduced this week into the Tonbridge classroom. Tonbridge, working in conjuction with the Cambridge University Wellbeing Institute and Oxford University, has devised an 8 week stress-reduction course teaching pupils how to use meditation practices to calm their minds, improve concentration, and deal with difficult emotions. The course comes after the success of a pilot study last year with many students experiencing positive results.
