Congratulations to Matthew Donora (WH5) who has been selected to represent the UK at the International Physics Olympiad in Croatia this July.

Mathew has taken an extra 14 hours of physics exams, attended a four-day selection camp and beaten over 1000 other students to win a place on the five person team.

Dr Cyril Isenberg, Academic Secretary of the British Physics Olympiad says “The Physics Olympiad is an opportunity for students throughout the UK to compare their knowledge and understanding of physical principles. Students who excel in the competition are our next generation of leaders, who will determine our country's future technological development. We are honoured to recognize and applaud their achievements.”
