Organ CD the new and the old – L’ancien et le nouveau, was released this month on Acis by producer and OT Geoffrey Silver (HS).
Recorded on the Tonbridge School Organ last February, the recording features Canadian-born Isabelle Demers performing Bach, Prokofiev and Reger. Isabelle is a young and virtuosic performer, currently studying her doctoral thesis at the Juilliard School in New York City, and will be featured at this year's American and Canadian Organist conventions. The Prokofiev is her own arrangement of Romeo and Juliet, including the famous dance, Montagues and Capulets, and showcases the organ’s inspiring tonal brilliance and versatility of which every boy and visitor will be familiar. The booklet design celebrates the colour and decoration of the Chapel.
