Congratulations to Patrick Ham (CH2). In the recent South East Region Age Group Swimming Championships, he finished 2nd in five different events:
1500m freestyle (17 mins 43.72 secs);
800m freestyle (9 mins 7.38 secs);
400m freestyle (4 mins 22.69 secs);
200m Individual Medley (2 mins 22.96 secs);
100m breaststroke (1 min 11.91 secs).
Overall he finished 4th. The 100m breaststroke time has qualified him to take part in the National Gala in Sheffield in August. These are all very impressive times – particularly in a long course (50m) pool.
