The U15 Cricket squad set off to the United Arab Emirates

UAE Cricket Tour

Over the Easter break, the U15 cricket squad travelled to the United Arab Emirates to play four fixtures against a series of strong opponents.

Throughout the trip, the boys had the opportunity to train at first-class venues, enabling them to hone their skills in the desert heat.

Ollie (PS2) said, “During high-level matches against good opposition, including Epsom College and Merchant Taylor’s, I gained valuable pre-season batting and wicket-keeping practice. The amazing training facilities, including the Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub, enabled us to develop both as a team and individually throughout the tour.

The team not only enjoyed this time to develop their sporting abilities but also immersed themselves in the vibrant culture and attractions of the region, including visits to the Dubai Mall, Dubai Creek and Souks, YAS Waterworld, and the chance to visit the prayer halls at Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque in the Arabian Desert.
