Novi shortlisted for John Locke Essay Prize

Roger (MH1) has recently been shortlisted for the John Locke Essay Prize in the Law category for his essay, “To what extent should criminal sentencing take into account the effect on the perpetrator’s family?”

Entries are judged by a panel of senior academics from some of the world’s leading universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Princeton, and Stanford, under the leadership of the Chairman of Examiners, Professor Terence Kealey.

Roger said, “I heard about the essay competition and decided to explore it further. After looking at the website and I inspired to enter after reading examples from previous entrants. I was studying similar topics at School, so built on that to extend my knowledge further.”

The winners will be announced at the John Locke Institute Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner held in October at the London Hilton on Park Lane in Mayfair.
