Partners
We have strong partnerships with ten local primary schools as well as secondary schools, special schools and charitable organisations. We work with them throughout the school year in a variety of ways, collaborating with partners across projects, that can include sharing our facilities, as well as our students working offsite.
The Marsh Academy
Tonbridge School has been working in partnership with The Marsh Academy as one of its sponsors since June 2006.
The Marsh Academy is a non-selective state school in New Romney in East Kent.
Many Tonbridge staff have worked with the Academy, and many Marsh students have visited Tonbridge for study days. These include virtual careers talks, supporting Oxbridge applications, English revision days.
Tonbridge is constantly re-evaluating and developing its role in relation to the needs of our partner school.
Sustain and Feast Food Banks
We work closely with Sustain and FEAST based in Tonbridge in a variety of ways. Each School House collects food donations throughout the year for the charities. Our boys benefit by volunteering with Sustain weekly.
This year we will be running our third Christmas Fruit and Veg market where families can come and pick up their fruit and veg for their Christmas dinner, browse the coats stall and enjoy a hot chocolate while the kids make and wrap a present for their parents.
