Students, staff and visitors to Tonbridge can explore the campus in a fun and informal way thanks to a new app.
‘Crumbs’ provides a walking tour and quiz of various locations across the UK – and developer Mark Fletcher has kindly produced a ‘crumb trail’ for the school.
Smartphone users are challenged to spot clues as they walk the campus to discover facts about Tonbridge. Crumbs can be anything seen en route and are scattered throughout the trail help the user to discover more about the culture and the rich history of the site.
The tour of the school takes about an hour and covers many of the main campus features including the clock tower, the First World War Remembrance Garden, the Head, Chapel and the Shop and Pound. Along the way, the app points out photo opportunities and provides some lesser-known trivia about the school too.
Crumb City Trails can be downloaded via the Apple App Store.
