Sean sings solo with Choral Society

Category: General, Featured, Music

Tonbridge boy Sean Yap (PS4) had the distinction of singing the countertenor solo in a performance of Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms. The concert, performed by the Royal Tunbridge Wells Choral Society, took place at the Assembly Hall Theatre last Sunday (29 April).

The photo shows Sean (left of centre) rehearsing with the choir and the orchestra at their practice in London the day before.

Conductor Rebecca Miller was very pleased with his performance, which marked the first time Sean had ever sung with a full orchestra.
