Tonbridge hosts prestigious International Girls’ Hockey Tournament

Over the Easter weekend, Tonbridge hosted the U16 and U18 Girls’ Six Nations Tournament, welcoming international teams from the Netherlands, England, Wales, Belgium, the USA and Scotland for four days of outstanding hockey.

Hosting an event of this calibre shows the School’s growing reputation as a venue for major sporting occasions. Bringing together six international programmes and some of the most talented young players in the game, the tournament provided an exceptional showcase for girls’ hockey at the highest level.

Throughout the weekend, the School’s pitches and wider facilities offered an excellent setting for competition. Players, coaches and officials benefited from an environment ideally suited to elite performance, while spectators enjoyed the opportunity to watch international hockey of a consistently high standard.
