Travelling to Tonbridge
The station is on a direct trainline to London, meaning you can get from Tonbridge to London Bridge in 40 minutes. Trains to Gatwick and Heathrow take a further 30 minutes and an hour respectively.
School Bus Services
Tonbridge School are partnered with Vectare, a specialist school transport software company, who are responsible for over two million independent school journeys per annum. Our School bus services are available to day and boarding pupils.
Day
For day pupils, we are pleased to offer a reliable and fully trackable weekday morning bus service, ensuring a smooth and safe journey to School. The service operates on three ‘Home to School’ minibus routes every morning Monday to Friday, starting in Oxted, Otford and Hartfield providing convenient transport options for families in these areas. Each route is monitored in real time by the School, allowing for greater visibility and peace of mind. Additionally, pupils benefit from the consistency of having the same driver every day, fostering familiarity and reliability.
Boarding
To support our boarding pupils, we provide a dedicated Sunday bus service from London to Tonbridge School, ensuring a smooth return at the end of the weekend. This service operates on two key routes, departing from Sunningdale and Kensington, offering a convenient travel option for families based in and around the capital.
