Sixth Former shares impact of Rank Leadership Award

The School was pleased to welcome John Hind, Director of Education and Leadership at the Rank Foundation, for a visit with current Sixth Form Rank Leadership Award recipient David (HS4) and the Headmaster.

The Rank Leadership Award supports and develops young people who demonstrate the potential to lead and make a positive contribution to their communities. As a recipient of this respected programme, David has gained access to a range of opportunities designed to strengthen his leadership skills and broaden his experience.

During the visit, David gave John a tour of the School and spoke about his experiences on the programme so far. He reflected on the impact the award has had on his personal development and shared how it is helping to shape his future aspirations.

The visit provided an opportunity to celebrate David’s achievements and discuss the value of leadership development programmes in supporting young people as they prepare for the next stage of their education and future careers.
