Students travel to Bermuda for Watersports trip
A group of Year 11 and Year 12 students travelled to Bermuda over October half term for the School’s inaugural watersports trip, focused on hydrofoiling.
Based at USail Bermuda in Castle Harbour, they sailed WASZP and Skeeta boats, whose underwater wings lift the hull above the surface to reduce drag and increase speed.
Every pupil achieved their first ‘flight’, including some who had only started sailing this year.
The group also explored Bermuda’s waters by kayak, wing foil, powerboat and stand-up paddleboard.
