Harry Whitty Band to headline at Trinity Theatre

Tonbridge School’s Harry Whitty (WW5) will be taking to the stage to perform his own music in April.
The Harry Whitty Band will be headlining at the Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells, on Saturday 28 April, as part of the theatre’s popular ‘Local and Live’ sessions.
Harry is the current Head of School Music and has won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music for jazz trombone.
He said: “My next gig is a headline set with my six-piece full band, ahead of the launch of my new EP, Feels Like Home.” Copies of the EP will be for sale on the night.
The band also features Joe Stick on saxophone, Sally Whitty on trumpet, Toby Morgan on guitar, Isaac Merchant on bass and Finlay O’Hara on drums.
Harry released his debut EP, Trying My Best, in 2017, featuring five original songs on which he sang and played all the instruments (trombone, trumpet, keys, hammond organ, electric bass, drums and other percussion).
He has performed live sessions on BBC Radio Kent and on Miskin Radio, and has also appeared on KMTV.
Doors open at 7.30pm.
