Tonbridge is proud to have a vibrant family of alumni, parents and friends who value the School’s education and are committed to shaping a bright future for our pupils. The Tonbridge Society brings together the Old Tonbridgian Society, Parents’ Arts Society, Tonbridge School Foundation and Careers and Mentoring.
Our goals are to engage parents, alumni and friends through events and shared activities that build connections, to enrich student life by offering careers support, mentoring and networking opportunities and to enhance educational experiences through fundraising that benefits current and future pupils.

Keeping Alumni Connected
With a global community of over 9,000, all Old Tonbridgians are lifelong members of the Old Tonbridgian Society. We host events, reunions, run thriving sports clubs, offer careers support and share news of Old Tonbridgians (OTs). At the heart of this network is Tonbridge Connect, our secure online platform for staying in touch, mentoring students, and building professional networks.
Supporting careers
We welcome parents and Old Tonbridgians to volunteer their time and expertise – whether by hosting career talks, leading sector-specific events, or providing mentoring support to our students and fellow OTs. Your involvement helps guide and inspire the next generation.
Our annual programme features industry-focused networking events, business breakfasts and sector gatherings, providing valuable opportunities for professional development and connection.
Central to this is Tonbridge Connect, our private online networking and events platform. Acting as a bespoke version of LinkedIn, designed to help OTs and parents expand their professional networks, access lifelong careers advice, register for events and stay connected within the Tonbridge community.
Inspiring philanthropy
Philanthropy has been at the heart of Tonbridge School since its founding in 1553, when Sir Andrew Judde set the example with his generous gift of the School. The Tonbridge School Foundation continues this tradition, fundraising to benefit Tonbridgians of the future. The impact of past donations is evident across the School today, as highlighted in our recently published Impact Report.
Bringing Parents Together
Now in its 33rd year, the Parents’ Arts Society is an integral part of the Tonbridge Society created to make parents feel fully engaged with the School during their son’s time here and beyond. It gives parents access to a vibrant programme of social and cultural events each term. From guided tours, theatre trips, and gallery visits, to lectures, workshops, comedy nights and the biennial Summer Ball, there’s something for everyone. Run by a dedicated team of volunteer parents, the Society aims to bring people together, foster connections and build lasting friendships within the Tonbridge Community.
