Tonbridge boys selected for Saracens u16s training camp

Three Tonbridge boys have taken part in a Saracens under 16s Academy residential rugby camp held at the school.
Finn Bradley (OH3), Ben Sibbald (FH3) and Luke Schaeffer (PS3) were invited to join the two-day camp and all excelled.
After a rigorous training day on Monday 20 August, the boys represented Saracens in a pre-season game against Harlequins u16’s the following day. Played on the school’s Lower Fields, the match was a close contest between two highly competitive teams, with some emerging talent on show.
The camp was hosted by Tonbridge School’s Rugby Academy. Its Director, Rhys Crane, said: “It was pleasing to see our boys competing at such a high level and experiencing that sort of environment. It was also a pleasure to host the Saracens Academy players and coaches. The fantastic facilities and accommodation we offer are perfect for events such as this. I am hoping that we can host more camps in future and further strengthen our links with Saracens.”
Former Tonbridge pupil Ben Earl (JH 11-16) is now both a Saracens and England player.
