Lower Sixth Honorary Academic Scholarships

Tonbridge boys who achieved exceptional results in their Lower Sixth end-of-year exams have been rewarded with Honorary Academic Scholarships.
The boys were presented with their scholarship certificates by Headmaster James Priory in a ceremony in the school’s Skinners’ Library on Friday 28 September.
The 11 boys are Zuka Charkviani (FH5), Andrew Chiu (JH5), Angus Crawford (OH5), Jamie Dare (JH5), Kin Sing Lau (MH5), Justin Leung (MH5), Andrew Ng (PS5), Nishi Ranasinghe (OH5), Charlie Taylor (JH5), Axel Wong (FH5) and
Sean Yap (PS5).
All have achieved results which indicate they are heading towards an A* (or the Pre-U equivalent) in three of their four Sixth Form subjects, and a grade A or above in their fourth subject.
The scholarships were awarded to boys who are not already academic scholars.
Both the Headmaster and John Pearson, Director of Studies, offered the boys their warm congratulations.
