All about boarding: Heads take part in Tatler event

The Heads of two leading independent schools will be discussing the topic of modern boarding in a free virtual event.

James Priory, Headmaster of Tonbridge, and Samantha Price, Benenden’s Headmistress, will be considering issues such as what a boarding school looks like in the 21st century and why children and parents still choose the boarding option today.

The online event will be hosted by Tori Cadogan, the Education Editor for Tatler Magazine, and takes place on Wednesday 27 January between 7pm and 8pm.

Tori writes and edits the annual Tatler Schools Guide and launched the Tatler Schools social media and online output.

The event is free to attend, with registration details below. Parents can also take part in a live Question and Answer session.

Other topics on the night will include the ways in which schools manage social media use.

James Priory said: “I’m looking forward to an in-depth discussion about boarding in modern independent schools, what we offer and how we help prepare young people for their future lives and careers. It’s an excellent opportunity to gather information and to put your questions to us.”
