Smythe retains its title as Houses compete in The CRAS
Hundreds of boys took part in the annual Tonbridge cross-country race, The CRAS, just before half term (Thursday 9 February). This popular and fun House competition has been a regular fixture in the School calendar for more than a century.
As in 2022, boys from Smythe House took the honours as overall winners. The top teams across the three age categories of Novi (First Year), Inter (Years Two and Three) and Seniors (Sixth Form) were School House (winners of the Novi event), Smythe (Inter) and Oakeshott (Senior).
In the individual events, there were plenty of strong performances, with Nico Swainson (SH1) winning the Novi race and Ben Willett (WW3) the Inter. Alex Smith-Stephens (OH4) came first in the Senior event.
A good number of Tonbridge teaching and support staff also took part in the various races.
