Tonbridge celebrates Science Technicians during Techognition 2025
Tonbridge School once again showed its unwavering support for its Science Technicians by participating in Techognition 2025. The annual event is celebrated widely across the UK to recognise and appreciate the vital contributions of school and college science technicians, who play an essential role in ensuring that science lessons run smoothly and safely.
This year, Tonbridge’s Science Technical team proudly took part in the celebrations, sharing photos and videos that showcased their hard work behind the scenes. Their efforts ensure that equipment is properly maintained, experiments are set up correctly, and that both teachers and students have the resources they need to deliver high-quality science education.
The School’s Science Coordinator, Lisa Alford, said, “It’s wonderful to see the work of science technicians being recognised through Techognition. Our team works tirelessly behind the scenes to support science education, and it’s incredibly rewarding to know that our contributions are valued. Tonbridge has always been supportive of our professional development, which motivates us to keep giving our best every day.”
The event served as a powerful reminder of how much the School values the expertise, dedication, and hard work of its technical staff, ensuring that students continue to benefit from a well-supported and enriched learning environment.
