Impressive performances in the Octagon Piano Concert

Last Friday, our weekly Octagon Concert series showcased piano students from the Novi to the Upper Sixth. The boys performed a range of pieces from Bach and Tchaikovsky to Hisaishi and Sherwin for their peers, friends, Housemasters and Matrons.

Laurence Long, Organist & Accompanist in Residence, said “The concert provided a moment of calm for those in attendance, revitalising them at the end of a busy week. Congratulations to all our performers.” Marcus Andrews, Head of Keyboard, added, “I was delighted that so many boys were keen to perform this early in the term and on the same evening as House Music. It demonstrates the commitment of our young musicians and their teachers”.
