Old Tonbridgian Reunion 2025
Old Tonbridgians spanning four decades, from the 1940s to the 1980s, returned to Tonbridge for the now biennial Old Tonbridgian Reunion.
The day began with a moving service led by Reverend David Peters, featuring the School Choir’s performance of hymns and the School Song. The lesson was read by Patrick Tawney (SH 79–84), followed by a sermon delivered by Father David. A highlight for many was the rousing rendition of Widor’s Toccata on the organ at the close of the Chapel service, a much-loved piece from their time at the School.
Afterwards, guests enjoyed pre-lunch drinks and met the Head of School, Etornam (Sc5), before hearing an address from Headmaster James Priory. Many then took the opportunity to support our students in the Tonbridge 1st XV vs Harrow 1st XV match, before ending the afternoon with warm coffee and fond memories in their former Houses.
Thank you to all who joined us for this special day.
