Christmas at Tonbridge
As Michaelmas Term draws to a close, pupils are embracing the wide range of Christmas festivities taking place in these final weeks.
Over the past week, the Christmas tree has been set up in the Skinners’ Library thanks to the help from the Gardens Team, with members of the Senior Leadership Team helping with this year’s decorations. Once in place, James Priory played Walking in the Air by Howard Blake on the piano for the Lower Sixth Whitworth students, which was a perfect end to their lunch with the Headmaster.
House Christmas dinners are now underway, marking the festive season and the end of the first term for the Novi.
This evening, the Advent Concert Night will feature performances from the School orchestra, junior strings, concert band and percussion ensemble, including music by Purcell, Mascagni and Gershwin. For more information and to book, please click here.
The School wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and looks forward to welcoming the boys back for the Lent Term.
