Tonbridge School hosts fifth annual Festive Fruit and Veg Market
The front of Tonbridge School was transformed into a vibrant, seasonal fruit and vegetable market in the run-up to Christmas, marking the fifth year of this community initiative.
Run in partnership with Sustain at Tonbridge Baptist Church and Feast 4 Kids, the market forms part of the School’s Shop to Share food donation scheme, which supports local families during the festive period. With seasonal music, festive lighting and a warm community atmosphere, the all-day event brought together pupils, staff, families and local partners in a shared effort to give back.
More than 40 School volunteers, supported by their families, gave their time throughout the day to help run the market, welcoming visitors and assisting with the distribution of fresh, seasonal produce.
The School is extremely grateful to its generous suppliers, Heritage Fruit & Veg, Brakes Food and Ian Chatfield’s Butcher and Deli, whose support was instrumental in making the event such a success.
