England Schools shooting success
Felix (OH2) and Leonid (Sc5) have been selected among the top school shooters in the country after strong performances in the BSSRA Schools National Match 2026. They will receive their England badges in the Summer Term.
It was an excellent competition for England, with all four teams recording the highest scores overall. In a rare result, England B outscored England A by six points, the first time a B team has led the field. Both A and B teams won their matches, as did the reserve teams.
Tim Blackwell the Master in Charge of Shooting said “Felix and Leonid are two fantastic marksmen; they must rate amongst the best the School has ever produced. The competition between the two of them has pushed them to the top of the British schools rifle shooting rankings.
The results highlight a strong and growing standard across England Schools shooting.
