National success in Chemistry and AI olympiads
We are delighted to share that Yijun (PH4) has recently represented the School with distinction in both Chemistry and Artificial Intelligence competitions at the highest national level.
Earlier this month, he travelled to Nottingham to attend the UK Chemistry Olympiad national selection camp, following his exceptional performance in earlier rounds. After completing a series of rigorous assessments, he has now received official confirmation of his results. He placed within the top four of 30 of the country’s most talented young chemists and has been selected to represent the United Kingdom at the International Chemistry Olympiad this July.
After his success in Chemistry, Yijun went on to impress in the AI Olympiad. His ability to participate in two demanding national competitions in quick succession reflects both his academic strength and commitment.
Yijun said, “I would like to thank my Housemaster, Toby Sampson, for his continued support and encouragement throughout my preparation and participation in these competitions, and I will work hard to bring further honour to Park House.”
