Prestigious Arkwright Scholarship for Tonbridge pair

Future leaders in engineering, Ben (OH3) and Angus (PS3), have been awarded the prestigious Arkwright Engineering Scholarship.

Following a rigorous selection process, the scholarship provides access to a wide range of exclusive industry events, as well as a personal mentor to support each student’s future study and career development.

Reflecting on the achievement, Ben said, “I’m really pleased and am looking forward to engaging with and meeting my fellow scholars over the next two years.”

When asked what advice he would give to younger pupils interested in a similar pathway, he added, “For Arkwright, make sure to prepare thoroughly and think about all the extracurricular work you do. For engineering,  pursue whatever piques your interest.”
