Transition to Sixth Form and Life after Tonbridge Evening

The Global Futures department recently hosted the Transition to Sixth Form and Life After Tonbridge evening for Third Year students and their parents. It was an opportunity to hear how the School will be supporting the boys for the next two years and beyond.

In addition to Mark Weatheritt, Deputy Head Academic, Ruth Davis, Director of Global Futures and Jonny Dixon, Head of UK Universities, we welcomed guest speaker, James Darley, Founder and CEO of Transform Society. James has over 26 years’ experience in graduate recruitment and is one of the leading experts in the sector.

Together, the speakers gave an overview of UK and international university application processes, current trends in the graduate job market as well as insights on the importance of future readiness and ensuring boys have the transferable skills future employers will be looking for.

It was wonderful to welcome our Third Years back to School following their exams, as well as new families who will be joining Tonbridge for the Sixth Form.
