Tonbridge Sixth Former selected for prestigious summer school
Toby (FH4) has been selected to attend the prestigious Senior Physics Challenge Residential Summer School, organised by Isaac Physics. This opportunity will take place at the University of Cambridge during the summer holidays.
With only 50 places available, selection is highly competitive. To be considered, students must complete more than 500 questions on the Isaac Physics platform. Toby performed exceptionally throughout the challenge to secure his place on the programme.
He will attend lectures and tutorials as part of an introductory course in quantum physics during the three-day residential, providing an opportunity to deepen his understanding of one of the most fascinating areas of modern science.
He follows in the footsteps of previous House members who have earned this distinction, with Samuel (FH5) attending the Summer School in 2025 and Robin Cox (FH 20–25) taking part the year before.
Head of Physics, Christopher Powell, said, “This is a fantastic opportunity, and Toby deserves enormous congratulations for earning his place and for achieving so highly”.
