RS Feva World Championships 2026 – Travemünde, Germany
Sixteen boys from the Novi and Second Year represented Tonbridge at the RS Feva World Championships 2026 in Travemünde, Germany. With more than 300 sailors competing on the waters of the Baltic Sea, the event brought together some of the best young dinghy racers.
Competing in the Bronze Fleet during the final series, our sailors produced a number of impressive results, including several top-three race finishes.
The leading Tonbridge boat was Joseph (SH1) and Mofan (HS1), who sailed consistently throughout the championship to secure an excellent 12th place in the fleet.
Master in Charge of Sailing, Jonathan Moss, said, “The entire team should be immensely proud of their efforts. To progress from novice sailors to competitors on the world stage in such a short time is a fantastic achievement, and the experience gained in Travemünde will undoubtedly serve them well in future competitions. Congratulations to all involved.”
